Paul Craven is a London-based specialist in the area of Behavioural Economics. Paul is a director of specialist coaching firm, Salomon Partners, helping asset managers, hedge funds and other investors to develop their skill. He retired from Goldman Sachs Asset Management at the end of 2013 after six years with the firm where he was a managing director and latterly the head of European Institutional Business. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Paul worked at PIMCO Europe Ltd for four years, where he was head of UK Business Development. Previously, he spent seventeen years at Schroders as a portfolio manager and later as head of UK Institutional Sales. His presentation style is interactive, with some humour and inspiring.
Paul has an MA (Hons) in History from St. John's College, Cambridge University, is a Freeman of the City of London, and is on the advisory council to the CFA in the UK. In his spare time, Paul is a member of the exclusive Magic Circle and therefore appreciates how the mind can play tricks. He also enjoys, as @CravenPartners, tweeting about behavioural economics.
